Hi Carl,
Have finished the quiz – just wondering how I view the correct answers. Thanks
Hi Jasmine, if you included your email you will be emailed the correct responses in a few days time.
I have my own personal procedures in place for migraine management mainly how to treat, minimize severity and manage attacks. I must admit though I really did not fully understand quite a few of the questions [did not research whilst completing the quiz] and probably account for mine and others low score. Where can we find the correct answers, DENNIS M
Hi Dennis, they will be emailed to you in a few days. We’re giving people a little longer before answers are publicly released to get a true reflection of the general knowledge.
Dear Carl,
It’s wonderful to know that you are on top of this migraine issue and constantly in touch with us. Pls continue your great work not only as a support but more so to be the source of information and availability of help we sufferers can have to manage migraine. One device I love is the Cefaly. Would you know if it can be used more than once / day like 3X/ day or every 5-6 hrs? Who should I contact for this info? Thanks again !
Hi Cecilia,
Thank you for your warm comment. Funnily enough, I interviewed Dr Pierre Rigaux, the inventor of the Cefaly device at the Migraine World Summit this year in April. He said that ideally, you would use it twice per day.
The idea is to build up resistance and desensitisation to the stimuli coming from the device. Twice a day consistently at full strength does the job and gets the best results based on the studies he mentioned in the interview. I’m not sure if doing it any more than that would improve your results further. But you can ask the staff at Cefaly… just look them up in your country online and call them directly.
I hope that helps.
That was fun.
Oh dear …. 60! I failed!!! Where are the correct answers?
60 is actually a great result. It’s a pass and it’s above the average score! Answers are being emailed to those participate in about a week’s time.
Nice!
it won’t let me open the link
Hi Babs, if you are trying to open one of the links in the comments you’ll need to
1) Highlight the URL
2) Copy the URL
3) Paste the URL into your browser window
This will open the link for you.
If you are clicking directly on the link it will not work as they are not "hyperlinks". These comments don’t have that functionality unfortunately.
Two every day brings short period of Limited relief
See below response Michelle.
I have found all these suggestions Non-effective for me
Hi Michelle,
Migraines are complex and multifactorial. What works for one person won’t necessarily work for another. Which is why we must play a central role in understanding migraine, working with our physician, recording and preventing attacks.
Having said that, there aren’t any suggestions in the quiz, which suggestions are you referring to?
